STUDENT WELLBEING: CYBER SAFETY
At Resurrection, we believe that learning is a social activity. It grows through interaction—between students, their peers, teachers, experts, and a world of new ideas. Technology opens exciting pathways for this interaction. It allows students to:
Access current and reliable information,
Collaborate with others beyond the classroom,
Learn from experts and peers,
Share their work to celebrate achievements or seek feedback.
By using technology, students not only gain knowledge—they also build important digital communication and publishing skills.
As we embrace the benefits of digital learning, we also have a shared responsibility to protect and guide children and young people. This means teaching them how to:
Use digital tools safely and ethically,
Avoid inappropriate content and online risks,
Protect their privacy and personal information,
Understand and demonstrate respectful online behaviour.
We encourage students to speak up if they ever feel unsafe, bullied, or exposed to anything inappropriate online. It’s equally important that adults—both at school and at home—know how to respond supportively and take the right actions to protect their wellbeing.
We are committed to creating a safe and supportive digital learning environment for all students. To help us achieve this, we use Linewize, a leading cybersafety and digital wellbeing platform. Linewize helps monitor and manage online activity on school devices, ensuring students are protected while learning and using technology.
This tool allows us to:
Promote safe and responsible use of technology
Support digital wellbeing and balanced screen time
Work in partnership with families to keep students safe online\
Together, we can help our students become safe, respectful, and responsible digital citizens.
