Welcome to our School

Welcome to the Resurrection Catholic Primary School Website. We hope that you find our website an informative introduction into the life of our school.

Our school coexists in a rich relationship with our parish. We pride ourselves on developing the students entrusted into our care in many ways: spiritually, socially, intellectually, emotionally, psychologically and physically. We seek to foster the total well being of every child at Resurrection Catholic Primary School. It is an approach imbued with the spirit of the Gospels, where each human being is called by God to grow to fullness of life in and through the person of Jesus Christ. It is about cultivating and drawing forth the unique giftedness of each child and encouraging them to grow in wisdom and knowledge.

Our staff work tirelessly to ensure, that the children receive a challenging and stimulating curriculum. We pride ourselves on delivering a curriculum that is targeted at individual student's needs. We plan experiences which will hopefully foster positive attitudes towards each other, school, teachers, parents and life itself. We recognise our responsibility to provide an education which will be both fruitful and enjoyable.

Our students are encouraged to develop their own personal learning journeys. A significant emphasis is placed on setting goals and contemporary learning tools are used to support the learning. We aim to equip our students with the skills needed to be authentic lifelong learners.

The work which we do here at Resurrection School, however, amounts to nothing without the support of each family, for we realise the very important part each family plays in their child's growth and development. We acknowledge families as the prime educators of their children and believe that a strong partnership will provide guidance, support and encouragement for all children. We are proud of this partnership and parents are encouraged to actively involve themselves in our school.

We look forward to working with you for the good of our children, drawing upon our personal commitment to religious values.

Yours sincerely,
John Connors
