At Resurrection we, as a staff, are conscious of the constantly changing and challenging world that our students will encounter in their lives. We endeavor to engage in learning that prepares our students for the increasingly technological society in which they already are active members.

Students have access to networked computers at all levels as well as a class-size Computer Lab. Each of these computers has access to both the internet and a variety of educational software packages which enhance planning, presentation, numeracy and literacy skills.

Students are assisted in the development of knowledge and skills to use a range of multimedia resources as well as the Internet. Students, at various levels, have opportunities to explore digital and clay animation, digital photography and photo editing, publishing, electronic brainstorming and mind-mapping, sound creation, internet searching, email and more. They use hardware such as scanners, printers, digital cameras, recording microphones / note-takers and web cams.

The Computer Lab, and all classrooms, have Promethean Interactive Whiteboards with dedicated PC’s installed. This technology opens up the possibilities for the teacher to bring the world into the classroom and for the student to move freely, as the need arises, around the world.
